TIME IN THE MARKET: 2 years.

NAME: Marcos Martínez, Production Manager and owner of LEPABI BASE II.

OBJECTIVE: To continue offering good quality larvae, for there to be improvement in the aquaculture sector, to be able to have better clients.

SURVIVAL PERCENTAGE: 80% – 85%. PRODUCTION: 21 million larvae per run.

Within the time I have been in the aquaculture industry, the only variation I have had is in terms of maturation, since they ask me to work with the one that the market is demanding.

The important thing is that my clients are satisfied, we have 80-85% survival within the runs, we feel lucky that Palmar is a sector, with good water quality, that does not present major contaminant problems, it was a good decision to have placed myself in this area.

Currently, they produce 21 million larvae per run, approximately 2 years in the middle, 7 months with their own laboratory (base 2 LEPABI), established protocol with excellent quality products.
